LOL toilet paper question
lol how often do you have to change the toilet paper roll??
just curious becasue my in laws have been visiting since friday evening.. i just went into the bathroom that they're using, and saw that they've gone through 1 roll of toilet paper in 2 days! theyre the only 2 using that bathroom since friday!
just wondering if its just me, or if this is a lot?! it ususally lasts like 4 days normaly... LOL so, whats your TP habits??

seriously!! thats what i want to know! what the heck are they doing with it?! i was thining maybe they were using it as tissues, too bc mil is having some sinus problems... but there ddn't seem to be much in the trash... how knows??

The big double rolls last about a week.
The regular size rolls last 3-4 days.
But we have 2 bathrooms.... and it's just the 2 of us... I imagine if we both always used the same bathroom, it would go faster than that.
I don't think a roll in 2 days is all that fast (but thinking about it, we probably are a little wasteful with it)

It actually depends on the TP.
The soft Charmin type. 3-4 days.
The Scott type. 1+ week.
We stick to Scott. I just can't use 3 little squares to save paper. I have a fear of getting my hands wet.

I couldn't tell you. When we used Charmin (when we were blessed with sewers) it felt like it was all the time.
Now we use Scotts and I don't even know how long it takes. I always keep 3+ rolls in the bathroom cabinet, I'm so afraid of running out when I can't yell to DH to get more TP.
Could it be (tmi question) they are having digestive issues which necessitate wiping more?

We've been using Scott and there's only 2 of us but I also use it to clean up after my dogs and it lasts us a long time..

Now that I'm pregnant and using a LOT more, I'd have to day we go through a roll every 3 days or so (just me and DH).
Pre-pregnancy, a roll used to last us well over a week.

I think your MIL is using it as tissues and flushing it.
I also think that two people using one bathroom for 3 days could go through a roll that fast.
I stayed with my inlaws for a week and went through 2 rolls with just DH and I.

it depends on how many people visit us that week, but I'd say every 2.5 days. it also depends on if we got jumbo rolls or not. Haha.

On average, about 1x a week. Though sometimes we'll go through a whole roll over the weekend if DD gets into a "use a lot of TP" phase.

OMG!! I don't think I'm using enough!! It's just my DH and me, but I've never changed the roll more often than once every 3 weeks or so. We do have two other bathrooms in the house, but we hardly use those. Wow, I must be doing something wrong!!

Me too. I also use TP to wipe hair out of the drain & toothpaste & make up from the sink, so they could be doing that because they don't want to leave your bathroom a mess. I usually toss in in the trsh, but they could be flushing it.
I really have no idea how long my tp lasts. We have 2 people, 2 bathrooms, and I don't really keep track b/c either one of us could be changing it.

I know!!! As SMDL said, the Scotts rolls last a LOT longer than the charmin. But I'm too afraid of my toilet backing and honestly, how much do you REALLY need?

DANG, what are you eating. haha. Just kidding
Totally depends on how much time spent in the house - me and DH share 1 bathroom but are at work most of the time. We typically buy the double rolls so I would say it lasts close to a week. Less if DH makes a visit to Chipotle!
Maybe you need to cut down on the fiber you are serving them

i'm not sure how much we use (think we change it like once a week or every 5 days or so) but when i read your post i thought that maybe your MIL is using the TP to blow her nose and flushing it down the toilet. i don't do that because i think it wastes water but i know some people do. either that or one of them is having some digestive troubles
