Dh and I want to go to London for Thanksgiving this year.

What do you think a reasonable price is for airfare and which arilines shoud we check out?

I suggest British Airways above most other airlines usually. The service is great. Virgin Atlantic fly from JFK also into London, so I would stick with those 2. I don't know how much it will cost, but I am flying from the UK in a few weeks and flights are looking at around $800, but the higher season does end on the 31 October.

There are some other threads on the board about hotels. The pound is currently very strong and I believe is going to go up to the $1.90 point very soon.

I'm going late September and paid about $500 per person round trip on American Airlines.

DH and I went the week before Thanksgiving last year for our HM. We flew Continental out of Newark (we live in jersey) and flew home Thanksgiving Day from Paris. We paid $375 Round Trip. Continental didn't fly into Heathrow, but to Gatwick which was no big deal.
