Long dress to fri night wedding?
Is it ok to wear a long strapless black dress (just about to the floor) to a non-black tie, friday night wedding at a nice place or is it too much? thanks!

I would say if you are worried, then I'd be understated with the jewelry & accessories. Personally I think the occassion calls for a gown

I wore a long purple gown to a friday nitth wedding a few years ago & I felt a little self concious, b/c msot of the people at my table (co-workers) were not as dressed up, but there were other people wearing long dresses.
