Re: Long Island Children's Museum, is 16 months too young?
I used to take DD#1 when she was 12 months and I have been taking DD#2 since she was 14 months. Both my girls love it they just get different things out of it. I frequently take DD#2 when DD#1 is in preschool for about an hour in the morning. We go and do the bubble area, the sand some days, we go upstairs and she plays in the music room, she likes the mirrors and some days the blocks. Then we spend some time in the TOT spot.
I would go.

I took DD1 at 14 months. BTW, check and see if your local library has passes you can take out. mine does and it saves us a ton of money every time!

I just went this week with my 15 month old and had a great time. It was really empty when we were there so it was nice. There was lots for him to see and do.

Definitely not too young, Lots of stuff for her to do.
My library has member passes available for check out that admit four guests into the museum....Many libraries offer this now. Might be worth calling yours to see if you can get in free,
