Long Island Seafood Festival
Anyone going this weekend? DH and I cannot wait! We already bought tickets online and can park in a school parking lot with a free shuttle by showing our tickets before parking! This way we dont have to worry about crazy parking lots, etc!!
Its at the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville. This weekend - the 25th and 26th

That looks very cool. I will have to see if we have anything going on this weekend. Possibly I might have to go.

I never heard of this but if it is good weather maybe DH and I will be in attendance.
Do they also have street vendors and stuff?

Yep - over 150 booths The Festival features its indoor and outdoor museum exhibits, as well as over 150 vendors of fine nautical arts and crafts and educational groups, and – of course – huge pavilions purveying some of the finest and freshest seafood available.

Re: Long Island Seafood Festival
This may be a stupid question...but my DH would love this type of festival.
Do they have non-seafood snacks for those of us who are allergic to seafood?

Re: Long Island Seafood Festival
We go every year. The seafood tents are usually MOBBED - so we eat first and then wander over there. Sometimes we buy live lobster while we are there to take back and cook. Last year was a wash out because of the rain. But we will probably go Saturday.
