long term parking at JFK?
anyone ever leave their car at JFK? is it safe? is it secured there??

we have parked there many times and never had any problems. The train to the terminals is very convient

We usually park at Avistar when we leave from JFK and haven't had any problems.

We always park there if we leave from JFK. They always usually have some kind of coupon online!

we just did this past April for about 5 days. The car was fine. After we parked a bus came by and drove us to where you can take the tram to your terminal. Pretty convenient

Yes, it is secured and yes, the shuttle runs all night long.
If you are interested in parking there though, make sure you make a reservation (they fill up).

Parked in long term and had no problems. The airtrain is great.

I have done Long Term Parking plenty of times - love the airtram now!!
The employee parking is right next door, so when I worked in the airport I parked there with no problems, so I guess that's why I have always felt safe. There is so much activity at most times of the day that I don't worry.

we always use AirPark and have no complaints. They have a van that drives you to your terminal after you drop your car off, and picks you up when you return. I get a discount through work, but if you go on their web site, they usually have coupons there to for a free day or 2.

I've used Avistar several times. Never a problem. Definitely look online for coupons....it's not cheap. And make advance reservations!
Sometimes certain airlines (like Jetblue) will offer deals on parking there - check the websites.
