Long term parking or car service
We're going to Aruba (leaving from Laguardia) for a week and are trying to decide which would be better and cheaper. Any advice?

For 5 days we are paying 103.00 at JFK. It's about $20 a day. Figure your cab ride is at least $50-60 each way.

Re: Long term parking or car service
i prefer car service. then i don't have to think or worry about my car, etc. and if you're going for several days, the price difference isn't much - at $20/day, you're paying $100 for the parking vs. my car service charges $120. The extra 20 is worth it to me. i am really scared driving around JFK in particular, so also having someone there to drive me is a huge plus to me.
eta: the car is $120 round trip, not each way.

I would go with car service. Parking can be stressful, finding a spot can be difficult and a pain to then lug everything possibly onto a shuttle depending on the lot you get into etc. Car service will probably cost about 100-130 roundtrip, they pick you up at your door, take you right to the terminal, then they are waiting for you at the baggage claim when you get back (or right outside of customs if you take an international flight) and they will help you with your bags to their car.
