Look at our latest project! (pics)
We had this ugly, ugly, ugly old dresser from Ikea that was in the guestroom that we turned into a nursery, so I was ABOUT to make DH throw it out, when I got an idea... we decided to play around and paint it in an antique finish and then use at a console for the dining room... I think it turned out pretty good! DH stripped the top and distressed the wood and stained it... I painted the bottom and sanded the edges to give it an antique look... check it out! That looks great!! YOu could even change the drawer knobs to make it ever more different if you want. But I love it, it looks great!
