Not so healthy, but oh so good!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 45 Minutes Ready In: 1 Hour
Yields: 10 servings

INGREDIENTS:
5 pounds unpeeled red potatoes, quartered
13 ounces butter, room temperature
5 ounces Romano cheese, grated, (or use romano, parmesan, asiago mix)
1/4 cup chopped garlic
2-1/2 teaspoons salt
2-1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 small package cream cheese
Some heavy cream to thin out a little

DIRECTIONS:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 45 minutes; drain. Add garlic when there are 5 minutes left to boil, this helps soften it up. Stir in butter, cream cheese, cheeses, salt and oregano. Mash with a potato masher or with an electric mixer.

Roast a whole garlic in a 400° oven, wrapped in aluminum foil for about 30-35 minutes...I used this site to roast my garlicRoasted Garlic

In the mean time
boiling one bag of potatoes, I peel and cut them in quaters. OR use the Orieda bag Chat Icon its really good!

I eyeball everything so I'm sorry I dont have exact measurements.

- Heavy Cream
- Salt
-a little pepper
- one stick of butter put up in cubes.
- add the roasted garlic
-a touch of sour scream.

and just taste as you go.

Enjoy!Chat Icon
