that was me! Dr. Last is the best. His office is just ok but I think he's a wonderful diagnostician and he takes care of my whole family. He has been my doctor for about 15 years.

I keep thinking about changing to him. I'm not thrilled with my current doctor's office, and every time I pass Dr. Last's office I remember that you've recommended him on here many times.

We were recently recommended Dr. Levitt in Massapequa.

I was extremely impressed by him and his staff immediately got on referrals.

He also has his own network of specialists he works with so you can be seen a lot quicker in that department too.

I go to East Meadow Family Practice...its right on Jerusalem on the line of North Bellmore & Wantagh, right across from Ginos. In 2 years, I've seen every doctor there and they're all great!

I found the best doctor I ever met from recs on the Infertility board... .so I figured I'd try my luck here too for an "everything else" doctor

I go here, too, and have seen almost all of the doctors. I like them all a lot, but the office can get really busy sometimes, with long waits.

Re: Looking for a great general practitioner in Wantagh/Seaford/Massapequa or surrounding areas

I'm glad I just stumbled on this. I have been trying to find a good PCP for the past 4 years living out here.

With Dr. Last, is he the type that will try and figure out what's wrong with you or will he just say you need a specialist and tell you see what they say? I get a lot of that from the PCPs I've seen since I moved out here. I was even considering going back to my Brooklyn Dr. Just so I can start to feel healthy again.

TIA

i went there years ago and then they banned me!! it was horrible and rude. it happened after Dr. Dreizen passed away. I really liked him.

Now I got to Dr. Jay Aaron in Great Neck, but he's far. My sister started using Dr. Knoll in Massapequa. She loves him, so I think I'm going to start going there.

Any PCP will examine and make recommendations. He is conservative with meds but if you really need it he will not hesitate to prescribe.

He's a D.O. so the school of thought is not necessarily about medicating as fast as an but he's as good as they come. He has a keen intuition and has diagnosed things in my family that others have missed. I take his advice very seriously.

Seeing him tomorrow in fact.
