looking for a really fun place for an 18th birthday dinner in NYC
Midtown or UES if possible. It's DSD's 18th birthday & she wants to eat someplace fun on a saturday night with 6 friends.
Any suggestions?

I was just there recently and I have to say, it's gotten kinda crappy over the years.  I've heard the same about Mars 2112 or whatever it's called.

I'm sorry I suggested it then! I take it back, lol. I never liked Mars 2112. But I loved Jekyll and Hyde, and it was a popular place to go for birthday dinners when I was 16-18. I remember it looked fun, and had good entertainment. However, it has now been like a good TEN years since I have last went, so I guess in 10 years A LOT could change!!  Don't take my suggestion! Go somewhere that has good recent reviews.

was there this past year, defin not good
food was not good either
