Looking for a red dress
for a late sept occasion...
I found the following @ Marshalls and would like an opinion.
Keep in mind I'm a chunk - all upper body weight. Large chest and a tummy. I'm not too comfortable with my chest hanging out....
And I'm only 5'3"ish. (5'6" with heels!) I definitely want a sleeved dress.
Thanks! (both are jones NY)

if you're not comfy showing cleavage, I vote for #2

if you're not comfy showing cleavage, I vote for #2 I agree....#1 looks like it would show a lot of cleavage

From the pics I've seen of you, I think you'll look great in the second one.

Re: Looking for a red dress
I really like #1.. I kind of disagree with it being too much cleavage.. I meen, it is going to show a little but if you have the right bra and it's not too push-upey I think it would be fine..
I think it's the shape of #1 that I really like

Re: Looking for a red dress
If you are only 5:3 and heavy on top I would go with neither one of those dresses. They will swallow you up.
But if I had to chose if would be #1. It has a very elegant shape and is not as matronly as #2 seems.

Re: Looking for a red dress
OK I may just wear a dress I have - it's red with a sheer black overlay...
I'm 2nd from the right. It's sleeveless, but I guess I can always wear a wrap/sweater.

Re: Looking for a red dress
i like #2 better- more modern styling and can go both ways as far as dressy/ casual depending on the accessories- thus #2 more versatile

Re: Looking for a red dress
I like red dress #2 (if you'll be uncomfortable in #1) - and the dress you already have .......but if you want to cover your arms, I think #2 would look great on you .........

Nic, the pic of #2 looks muy matronly.
try them both on, record the process, and email the video to me.
