Re: Looking for a Weight Watchers Beef Stew Recipe
Yummy Crock Pot Beef Stew... and Weight Watchers Core friendly!
3 Tablespoons tomato paste 4 c. beef broth 2 Bay leaves 1 pkg baby carrots 4-5 celery stalks cut thin 1 onion cubed salt and pepper to taste 3 pounds beef - cut into cubes for stew 1 cup regular barley
Add all ingredients to crock pot , cook on low about 6-8 hours or until meat and veggies are soft.
* I used 1/ 2 bag frozen chopped onions- too lazy to cut up the onion, and I used 2 c broth, 2 cups water, I also added a sprinkle of garlic powder too.*
I posted this the end of last yr, hope u enjoy it. I have made this before and it is excellent. I have it cooking right now and it smells so good. There is nothing like the crockpot doing the work for you, it is like you Mom has been cooking for you all day!

Re: Looking for a Weight Watchers Beef Stew Recipe
I do not see why not, I never did it, but it is worth a try. Let me know how it is, maybe I will try it next time if it is good.
