Looking for a worthy, tax-deductible cause to donate to???

I know that times are tight and I am asking this for a person you don't even know, but I know sometimes when you throw something out there, it comes back to you in a good way.
I work at high school in California as a guidance counselor for those of you wo don't know me. One of our students was just chosen to compete at the National Wrestling Championships in Fargo, North Dakota. This is an incredible honor, one that we have never seen a student do before.

Here is the rub- the trip costs 1400. We are in serious economic trouble in our school district and the student's family does not have the money to send him either. I work in an impovished area but not one that gets special funding so times are really tough for our students.

If you want to help this kid realize his dream, please FM me and I will give you the information to donate. Businesses are welcome to donate as well. It is fully tax-deductible and every dollar goes to his trip!
