Looking for Admin Work
I am in need of a job ASAP. LOL, who isn't? If you happen to know of anyone that might be needing an admin assist or receptionist I'd appreciate any info. I left a company I was working for and took a new job about two months ago, yesterday I was laid off because of financial issues. The timing is awful anytime but this time it's particularly worse because my husband and I had a fire in our old apt in March and we had moved into a new place and started all over again. This situation is going to hit us hard, so if anyone knows of anyplace hiring I'd appreciate it. At this last job I was a recruiter but I have more experience in admin. Thanks.

I believe there are quite a bit of Admin jobs out there. Have you tried an employment agency? Are you willing to commute to NYC?

I'm updating my resume to submit it to a few agencies, I can definitely commute, I used to work in NYC and took this job because it was in Long Island, go figure. There are alot of admin jobs so I'm hoping I land something soon.

I think we just lost our receptionist at work. We are located in Lynbrook. I am not sure if our office manager has interviewed anyone else but if you want to FM me, I'll give you my contact info. Our office is literally right next to the LIRR too.
