Re: Looking for an apartment in Suffolk
I HIGHLY recommend the Heatherwood Apt. complexes. We lived in a 1 bedroom unit upstairs for 2 years and were very happy. They have complexes all over Suffolk. They have a pool and club house and offer studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units depending on what you want.
We lived in one in PJS.

Re: Looking for an apartment in Suffolk
look near hospitals. generally, residents need to live really near by, so they can be rush home and back quickly.... They generally rent in apartment complexes that are fairly decent sized.... running roughly 1500/month.
I know there are numerous complexes in the 3 village / pj area, becuase of stony brook hospital, st charles, and mathers....

Re: Looking for an apartment in Suffolk
This is the apartment I just moved out of since we bought a house. It is very centrally located, reasonably priced, and the landlord is a good guy. It's the lower level of a hi-ranch house. The ad is still on craigslist, but I have no idea if it's been rented yet.
