looking for canolli shells.....
that are already made. I have a recipe for the filling and want to try making them for the holidays. Anybody know where I can buy the shells premade so all I have to do is fill them. Thanks!

Re: looking for canolli shells.....
I know Price Club (Costco) has the shells.
Otherwise, I'm sure if you ordered a bunch of empty ones from a bakery, they'd do that for you.

Restaurant depot--has shells and filling/ Shells dipped in chocolate and without. One is in Bohemia and Plainivew. U need a membership but they are easy to get.

Re: looking for canolli shells.....
this may not help entirely...but if you ever want to make healthy ones, I use wonton skins and wrap them around the canoli tubes and bake them in the oven, then fill.

Re: looking for canolli shells.....
My mom hoards the costco ones, I'll find out the exact name for you. Its great, whenever she needs a quick desert she's got them ready to go. I would never have known they were from Costco.

The Costco ones are very good. I bought them last year for the holidays, I didn't think they'd be that great but they were a hit

Re: looking for canolli shells.....
The costco ones are Canoli factory. They are mini but they come with a tube/ pastery bag of the filling with them.
The actual canoli factory is in Farmingdale. A few people Iknew used to work there you may be able to call them and just get the shells.
