Looking for daycare and pediatrician near Lynbrook, Oceanside, RVC any suggestion???
Hi all,
I'm a first time mom who is moving to Lynbrook in the next couple of month. Does anyone the know of any good daycares in area of Lynbrook,Oceanside,RVC? Or does anyone know of a good nanny? My baby will be around 4 or 5 months when it comes time leave them, :(.
Thanks for any help or suggestions since we are new to the area
We are also looking for a pediatrician in the Lynbrook area. Any suggestions would be welcome as well!! Thank you!!

I am not sure about daycare- but our Ped is in RVC- Pediatric Proffessionals of LI- there are 3 women dr's there all with kids of their own- Drs Forgione-Fusco-Pelusco. All of them are great! DS loves Dr Fusco he's a lil flirty boy LOL- Anywho they are located @ 165 North Villiage Ave- Ste 215- phone 516-536-7200.

That's who we go to. Love them all. Dr Fusco and Paloma (sp) are great. So is Forgione, but we just don't see them as much.
All wonderful and so are the nurses.
I heard the Tutor Time in Lynbrook is good as well. I live in Lynbrook, but work in Woodbury so DS is in a daycare by my work.
Also heard great things about the JCC in Oceanside

As for pediatricians, my children go to Baldwin Harbour Pediatrics. They are right on the border of Oceanside and Baldwin Harbour.
For childcare, i have gone down a few avenues. Have you ever considered an Au Pair? have found this to be the most affordable and one of the option that have given me a better peace of mind as a working mom. You can FM me if you need more info.

East Rockaway Pediatrics....
I second East Rockaway Pediatrics, I have referred so many people there, I would do a commercial for them if I could ...they are amazing. Dr Dellarusso is our main doctor but I adore each and every person in the practice (Two more docs and a nurse practioner). Whenever Bella is sick they take her right away....so amazing.
We also went with Loving and Learning in Oceanside, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care at this facility....they have been above and beyond one of my best decisions as a parent.

We also go to Baldwin Harbour Pediatrics; I love Dr. Jetter. We can always get in to see her and when DS was a newborn and I called the emergency number bc he wouldn't stop crying, she was marvelous even though it was 11PM. She was never judgmental nor made me ever feel bad about calling the service. I suggest you schedule an "interview" with her, she is wonderful and has great credentials.
Daycare I can't help with although I did visit the Tutor Time in Baldwin Harbor where I live. My parents watch DS. Welcome to LI and the neighborhood.
