Looking for help deciding b/w 2 dresses for Ellie for a wedding
we have this summer for BIL. It will be end of July in DC/MD area if that helps. I put the pics in my album. I have issues with resizing. Which do you like better? And tell my why please. Thanks! I should note she hasn't been asked to be a flower girl per se but I realize that dress # 2 is pretty flower girlish so if that makes a difference say so. DH is best man but there is no extended bridal party beyond that. I guess I should ask if you were me and your BIL didn't ask DD to be a flower girl is it wrong for me to put her in that kind of a dress. I won't be hurt if she doesn't get to walk down the aisle but I want to be able to dress her up is all (kwim)? or is that wrong?
Oops I should've added two more answers to my poll: neither keep shopping or both use one for rehearsal dinner and one for wedding

they are both adorable (as is your DD) - but being that she isn't a flowergirl I would steer away from the second one.

#1 is adorable. Not loving #2, plus I think it's too dressy if she's not a flower girl.

I love the first one. They do look very flower girlish though. I would probably ask the bride if she what she thought.

Your DD is a doll!! I want to pinch her cheeks  I really like #1 since #2 looks too much like an actual flower girl dress.

Both are very pretty, but very flower girlish. I am sure you can find another dress without it looking like a flower girl dress~ She is very cute!

She is so cute I simply cannot take it! I like the way she looks in the pink dress.
But you might want to make sure that the colors for the wedding aren't pink.. she might look like part of the wedding. I wouldn't care if it was my wedding - but some brides.. well they care.

Any dress you put on her will look adorable but I think because of hair color and complection, this would look really good.

If she is not the flower girl I would go in something that has more color and not so flower girlish.
Maybe even something a bit shorter between the knee and ankle.
Both of those are very cute though.

I think they both look pretty flowergirlish. Out of the 2, I like the first one better on her. I think the second one is just too much for her. If it is a formal wedding, I think you can have her wear the first one anyway (unless the wedding color is pink). If it is informal, I'd keep looking for a less formal dress for her.
