Looking for Help with Doctors?

Hi everyone! I just don't know where to start and I'm stressed out completely.

The story is this - my Dad is in the hospital, first due to cancer and now we don't know what. My question is how do you go about finding a better hospital or doctor(s)? Any advice would be great. I'm trying to help my mom out. She just doesn't know what to do anymore. He has been in and out of hospitals for a couple of months now and keeps getting infections (do to being in the hospital so much), so we are trying to get him well and out. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Well it is so important to have multiple opinions. I know for my mom we had a few opinions before deciding on a team to work with her. What type of cancer was it? What hospital were you using?
