Looking for IPHONE case recommendations, especially for moms of toddlers!

I finally got an Iphone and now I need to get a case-- looking for suggestions between the otterbox defender and commuter.. I am leaning towards the commuter but worrying that if DD gets her hands on it that the commuter case may not protect the screen as well as the commuter... anyone have any experience with this??

Re: I phone

I just got an iphone and got a lifeproof case. It was pricey at $90 but its waterproof (you can literally go swimming w it although idk why anyone would lol), dirt proof, drop proof, snow proof. Im no longer paranoid about my 3yr old DS playing games on my phone lol.

I swear by the otter box.
I had the defender case. I dropped my phone when getting out of the car right before a snow storm... We found it the next day, under 2 feet after hitting it with the shovel.

After a while, the case didn't fit well anymore and I got the commuter. It's good too. Less screen protection, but has survived many falls without a hitch.

Just don't get a white case. It gets stained in my jeans.

this is what i finally got but the otterbox defender is what i always had.

The reason i dont like the defender is for me for some reason the otter rubber case kept breaking on me so i just gave up and bought the lifeproof

I have a lifeproof case, it was $79 from Lifeproof (or you can find them at walmart)

After my toddler drowned my phone in the dog bowl twice, I realized I really needed water proof protection. It is made up to military specs and is VERY stream lined. The case is guaranteed for a year if you fill out the online quiz. BTW, if you decide to get one, only buy from lifeproof or a legitimate authorized dealer because if you buy a knock off it's isn't warrantied. I would check with lifeproof to make sure you find a real dealer. Ebay, mall kiosks and Amazon dealers are fakes (lifeproof told me that). My girls swipe my phone all the time and since I have had the case they have put it in the dogs bowl once, their kiddie pool once and my husband took it on his shark dive at Riverhead aquarium. Oh and I can't count just how many times they have dropped it too.

If I had it to do all over again I would probably have gotten the lifeproof clear case so I could do skins underneath because I like variety but I also found out you can order just fronts and backs so you can change out the colors or replace damaged/dirty parts. I bought my three nieces lifeproof cases as early birthday presents for their phones after my toddler shattered my nieces brand new phone. So far it's holding up to tweens and teens too :O)

Hubby has the otterbox. DD is not gentle and has put it to the test and we have had no issues with it.

Another vote for Otterbox Defender. I bought mine on amazon much cheaper than the store and it has survived 3 year old twins and many falls!
