Re: Looking for job...
Maybe check out some of the local food chains?
I go to several Panera's in the AM for coffee and they seem to be hiring.
A lot of the managers have been there for awhile, but it seems as of late that there have also been some new faces starting.
Or maybe if you know someone, you can have luck at getting into one of the hospital systems.

Re: Looking for job...
Maybe check out nursing homes as well.
Also if you don't already use this site, try Indeed.com
You can punch in key words of jobs by zipcode or town. You can even just punch in the town and no key word and see what jobs come up.

Re: Looking for job...
Have you used Indeed.com?
It pulls up all the listings from every job website.
I've even not put in any specific job before, but just punched in my town and all the new jobs come up.
You can find stuff that way that you may be qualified for too.

I second Indeed. I feel your pain. I've been out of work for almost 2 years.

Re: Looking for job...
Have you thought about doing direct sales (home parties) to fill in the gaps in the meantime? I work during the week but do home parties at night. It's way more fun than my day job (lol) and I get nights out with fun ladies. If you have an outgoing personality, you would pick it up in no time If you have questions let me know and I can help
