Looking for manual breast pump recommendations
I am going back to work next week and I want to get a manual pump. I have the Pump in Style for home, but I am going to have a big issue finding privacy so I want a smaller hand pump too. Right now I'm leaning towards the Medela Harmony but am interested in getting feedback on other brands.
Thanks.

Re: Looking for manual breast pump recommendations
I had the Medela Harmony and it worked good, but I hated pumping in general so I hardly used it. I would mostly use it when we would be away from home and it did the job.

avent isis. This is the only one I have, I can get 5 ounces in 10 minutes.
I did not like have to be plugged in somewhere. I rented one from the hospital, it worked great, but this is so much more flexible.

As far as handpumps go, this was the best I tried.
Your job should be providing you a private place to pump.

I would just try a Medela Mini Electric (I think thats what its called) I had one, it was quiet and it was great! You can use it on the mains or with batteries

Medela Manual is the one I am using. I am trying to increase my flow. So far I like it a lot. It was $35.00

Re: Looking for manual breast pump recommendations
I had good luck with the Avent Isis too. But, you might want to try one of the battery operated ones. I know the Avent worked really well, but it was a big pain. I only used it while on a car trip or 2. Also, it got squeaky, even though it still worked great; so if you aren't in a totally private place (like in a bathroom stall), you might be with the noise.
