Looking for new OB recs- Suffolk

Starting TTC and sick of waiting at South Bay Ob/Gyn, and also uncomfortable with the amount of Dr.s in the practice should i get pregnant. Looking for a smaller more intimate practice.

I switched from south bay obgyn to Dr Antoniadis half way through my pregnancy and couldnt be happier. It was the best decision I ever made.

i go to dr san roman (gustavo - there are 4 brothers who are dr's), in port jeff station. small practice, gorgeous office, and his nurse practioner michele mayer is amazinggg. i'm partial because i worked there for years, but they've always taken very good care of me and any friends i have sent there were very happy.

I see him too. The only prob I've encountered is that their record keeping sux! I cannot tell you how many times I've had to repeat info to them that should have been in my file the first time. They use those tablets in the office so I'm not sure if those screw up or if there's just limited communication between everyone there. The doctor himself is awesome though. Very laid back, easy to talk to...

Dr. Trivedi in Islip is great. I can't say enough about him and it is a small office. Him and his PA. Highly recommend!

I go to South Bay as of right now as well. Been seeing Dr. Jurak. People say they don't like her, but I'e never had a problem.

Any other women OBs in West Islip affiliated with Good Sam?

Re: Looking for new OB recs- Suffolk

I go to South Shore OBGYN and Dr. Paula Hirt. Her bedside manner isn't the best, but she is a really good doctor, in fact my mom did some research and she is listed on the Top 100 in the country list. She is very thorough and found things that other doctors wouldn't have even looked for.

But the wait is usually terrible.
