Looking for new OBGYN-Islip area
I don't really post on this board but I am TTC and I am looking for a new OBGYN. When I had my son in 2008 I went to a doctor in Westbury. I have since moved and their office is just too far away. I am looking for a doctor in the Islip area. I would love to find someone that delivers at Good Sam b/c that is where my pediatrician has privileges. I am looking for a smaller practice-I did try one practice in Islip that was rather large and I did not like it. TIA for any/all help!!

Dr. Joseph Livoti in West Islip
ETS - He does deliver at Good Sam (that's where I had DD) and it's just him and a PA in his office.

I see Dr. Michael Ketcham there -- but there are others in the practice as well.
I love them too!!! Dr. Ketcham just delivered my daughter two weeks ago and he was wonderful!!!

Dr. Trivedi on Grant Ave. in Islip. I <3 him. He delivered my dd and I'm 14 weeks now. 631-859-1920

this is who i use too. it's a small practice. she works with dr. kasten, but she's only part time there, so she only takes appts on certain days. she's also p/t at another office in islip. the staff at the oakdale place is very warm and personable, which is what i like. although i at times felt like the doctors were less than thorough. they're on montauk highway in the strip mall with gymboree.

There are 4 doctors there - ketcham, vullo, sampino, and squiccarini. Love them all! I had an emergency when DS was born and they were all in the room delivering him. They worked so well together!! I have an appt there tomorrow - I can't wait lol

I actually see her at her other location w/ Dr. Berlin. She's great. I used to see her when she was in another practice. She's young & very easy to talk to. Dr. Berlin is great too. They deliver at Southside; not sure about Good Sam.

I second this, nice small office right in town, works by himself, very accomodating.

Dr. Miller in East Islip. Not a big practice, but the service, face-time, wait-time and compassion there is incredible. The nurses are so kind-hearted- I feel like a princess every time I leave there.

I also see Dr. Ketcham. He is the best. I have heard that the other dr's in the practice are fantastic as well.
