Looking for Part-time work - where do I start? Where did you look?
Im entertaining the idea of a part-time job. Im a SAHM right now - but am really starting to ponder on the idea of going part-time a few days a week if I find the right opportunity.
Where do I start? I live in Queens and worked in midtown for over 10 years (ive been home now for 3 years). Im looking for work in queens, long island (I don't want to commute anymore to the city). Where could i find some opportunities for Queens/ LI/part time?
Any online websites? newspapers? you could recommend thanks

2 years ago I started waitressing. I had zero experience prior to. I just went in and asked if they needed a waitress. Its been great, fast cash-at night when there are plenty of baby-sitters, but now I just took an offer for a PT job in the field I was in prior to children (Mortgage underwriting). I took a job as a processor/assistant. Its 20 hrs aweek, much less stress, flexible decent $$$ I found it on craigslist.

I worked for a college,DH still does. Great idea because they do usually have PTjobs, however they don't usually pay great. Although you get lots of time off and usually get a discount or free classes. If you have to pay daycare it prob wouldn't be worth it.
What Co do you proctor for?

Check indeed.com. I like this site because it lists jobs from all different sources (Monster, newspaper listings, etc.).
