Looking for recommendations for a Jeweler
I need someone who makes/designs jewelry. I've got a picture of what I want and I need to find someone who'll make it. I'd like to go with someone that comes recommended b/c I've never had a piece of jewelry made before. Thanks!

DH had my engagement ring made by Elsa's in Farmingdale. I'm not sure if you want a ring made, or some other piece of jewelry, but I highly recommend them. Even though they 'specialize' in wedding/engagement rings, I'm sure they could make other rings.

Oh, it's a charm necklace. I didn't think that the type of jewelry might make a difference in who you'd recommend.
Specifically, it's a hinu necklace. Maybe someone has even seen them in a store in person, but they were pretty hard to find even online so I figured I better get it made.

They might be able to make it - I'm not sure. I just know they make custom rings. Give them a call, they could probably tell you over the phone if they could do it or not.
The whole process was pretty amazing. I watched them make a ring out of wax, and then I could make changes to it, etc.

My jeweler was able to replicate a ring I loved from fortunoff. At the same time he saved me a ton of money. Here's a Link to his website.

I've had jewelry made by Gabriel in Tri-County, they were great! I dealt with Dominic, I believe he is there on Saturdays

Dominic is the best! DH's family has used Gabriel for years, and we are always very happy with them. My MIL has gotten jewelry made there, and it is beautiful!
