Looking for reputable nanny and au pair agencies
We are looking into the possibility of hiring a nanny or au pair but do not know where to begin. Anyone have any recommendations or resources?

I think if you do a search, there was a thread on this a while ago if you do a search. I also remember something about an article in Newsday, so try searching there. I know that it talked about the costs and fees involved.

Ask away, I have an au pair from brazil and I love it- it is so much better than daycare IMO, and it saved me $$$
