Looking for work at home!
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get a position working at home. I have a 2year old and me and my husband decided it wouldn't be worth me going back to work just to pay for day care. Ive been in the medical field for 13years. Medical Asst for 10 years. I just need something anything at this point.
Thanks

Re: Looking for work at home!
Have you considered watching another child in your home?
Otherwise, I think you would need to legitimately make other arrangements anyway for your child to be in some kind of care so you could actually get work done.
I can work from home if I want (I work in the healthcare field so most of my job involves writing up extensive reports and making phone calls), however, I usually choose not to unless DS/DH are not here.
I also find that I like having adult time away from DS where I can still use my brain.
What about something opposite schedule from DH?

My job is WAH, but you need childcare. There's no way you could do it and watch a child

Looking for work at home!
I work from home a couple of days a week but have childcare when i am home. I dont see how anyone can truly work from home and not have some kind of childcare. My employer would not tolerate that and there is no way that I could actually do my job.

Re: Looking for work at home!
I agree with the others. I have flexibility to work from home part time but I always need childcare when I do. There is no way I could do my job and watch my DC at the same time -- both would be shortchanged.

Looking for work at home!
I run an online accessories boutique that offers work from home. It's definitely not a full income but it's pretty good money given the flexibility.
Check it out and see if its something you'd be interested in. Feel free to FM with any questions.
