Re: Looking to get a GPS for the car
My husband has the Tom Tom, he loves it so much that he even uses it when he drives to work ...hellllo he works 4 blocks away. But I think it was over $250.00 But that is when they first came out it is probally cheaper now

Re: Looking to get a GPS for the car
I got DH a Magallan Roadmate for his birthday last year and it works very well, he loves it.
It's much more reasonably priced, and you can get a good deal on Amazon.com.

Re: Looking to get a GPS for the car
We have a Garmin i5 that we bought from Amazon. It's easy to use, accurate, inexpensive and does not require a subscription.

Re: Looking to get a GPS for the car
We have 2 and I say not to get a Tom Tom. I think they are overrated and overpriced. We have the Garmin C340 and LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! So easy to use. Touch screen is definitely the best and also preloaded maps are also the best too.
We also have the Garmin Streetpilot III. I use that one because it is bigger and I don't have to use it that much. It is ok but touch screen is def soo much better
If you need anymore help let me know. My Uncle works for Garmin
