Looking to get a new diaper bag (backpack style), any recommendations?
The current diaper bag I am using is just so bulky and really not practical when we go out without a stroller. I really want to get a new one and I'm pretty set on backpack style. A lot of websites are offering free shipping and discounts for Presidents Day so I've been researching all morning with the hopes to find one to buy soon. Does any one have this one and would you recommend it?

haha I had a backpack.
For me it was the best thing ever! I totally stopped using my pricey diaper bag and kinda hated myself for wasting the money. Backpack TRUE backpack left my hands free, was easy to carry and much more practical.
Even now that she's 3 and potty trained etc, we still carry a backpack to theme parks or events. We put a couple juice boxes and a spare shirt then keep the rest of the space for any junk we don't want to carry.
When she was diaper and bottles, we would put frozen ice packs inside gallon zip bags with her juice boxes or water (if it was hot out) and kept the formula powder in a side pocket, a few diapers, wipes, disposable change pad liners, cream, snack and bib all fit fine.
We still carry a ice packs in there because we pack two. One for the car seat and one to carry. We carry one while the other roasts in our car. Our carried bag keeps her juice boxes cool as well as a small towel if we're out and about too hot. Plus it makes me feel better if we decide to make a few stops that we can keep her car seat cool.
Sorry for the sidebar
Anyway.... yes, I used a backpack. No it wasn't designer. I preferred black and/or gray. Hubby would easily carry it and take AJ in to the family bathroom for a change. I could put it on the ground, etc and never care much about it getting dirty. Very user friendly.

Re: Looking to get a new diaper bag (backpack style), any recommendations?
ok I have officially spent waaaay too much time looking at bags......and I still can't make a decision. So many different reviews I'm actually looking at regular backpacks now, I just don't want this purchase to break the bank, I can't believe how much some of these cost! I really like the one I posted a pic of, but then I thought "would my DH be willing to carry this around" yeah probably not!
