Looking to Rent a House/Condo Near Disney
My family and I are planning a trip to Disney at the end of June. I was thinking renting a home/condo is the best bet for us.
I've been looking at VRBO.com and have seen some great options.
I was wondering if anyone has ever done this and if they had recommendations for properties that they've every rented for a week.
TIA~!

Re: Looking to Rent a House/Condo Near Disney
How about renting a 2-3BR at a resort from a timeshare owner?
I'm doing that and love the idea that there's a bunch of stuff to do at those resorts. If you rent a house, you'll probably just have the pool but with the resort, you'll get the lazy river, slides, sprayground, etc.
I got a deal for a 80/nite at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek which is right across from a Disney property. I've heard good things about Sheraton Vistana so that may be another option for you.
Good luck!

My family rented a house from All Star vacation homes. It was a great experience, really nice house and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again. They have houses of all sizes from 2BR apartments to 7 BR houses.

I had booked Bonnet Creek through Ken and Denise Price. I unfortunately had to cancel but I wouldn't hesitate to book through them again. They were a pleasure to work with.

Re: Looking to Rent a House/Condo Near Disney
We did this last fall! We rented in Kissimmee, FL at the Windsor Hill Resorts. It was really close to disney. I think 2 miles. We rented a 4 bedroom and went with another family. It was nice to have our own kitchen and pool/hot tub. The complex also has a big pool with big slide. We only made it there once as our own pool was much more convinient with the kids. We rented this one: http://www.vrbo.com/138653
Our group of 8 had a great time and really enjoyed the house. It was very clean and the garage/game room had some swim floaties and toys that the kids played with. You can read the reviews on the website.
Best luck with your planning!

You can rent from redweek.com, vbro.com or ebay.com. Try not to pay more than $100/nite.
Bargain to get the best deal you can because there's just so much supply in Orlando.

I rented a house in disney and loved the screened in private pool, game room and all amenities. It is great if you have young children cause while they nap you can still enjoy yourselves.
