Looks like I am becoming a SAHM
So I deciede to stop by my job today to visit. I had given my availability to my boss 1 1/2 weeks ago, but she is on vacation, and I am waiting until she returns to see if the VP will approve my hours.
Due to DH's schedule, I can only work part time for now, and his schedule rotates, but I said I could give them my schedule at least 1 month at a time.
Well, my boss' boss (the asst VP) said they talked w/ the VP of HR and collectively decided they could not approve my Hrs.
I am okay with this, as I was half hoping they'd say no, and I just told DH yesterday I kind of wanted to call work and say "You know what, nevermind"
I am on the lookout for a FT (if this happened, we'd get someoen to watch DS) or PT job closer to home or in Manhattan. I was working in Plainview, and the commute from Queens was NOT fun!! I'd work in and commute to Manhattan b/c I know I could get more $$ than what I was making.
