Losing my mind.. Baby won't sleep
I don't know what to do... I've been trying to put My 7 week old to sleep since 8pm... Its midnight now. She barely slept last night, didn't sleep a wink all day today, and is still wide awake now... How can this be?? I'm starting to lose my mind...

The only thing that I can suggest is maybe give Lo a warm bath and a keep lights low and don't talk. That may make them sleepy. Enya on Pandora worked for me when dd was a newborn and still works today. Good luck I feel your pain does up every two hours to eat.

Losing my mind.. Baby won't sleep
Sounds like my LO in the beginning. He would go all day without a nap and then keep me up every hour or two at night. I thought I was losing my mind. I started having sleep anxiety even when I could sleep! So I feel your pain. In my case, it turned out he was just insatiably hungry. I ended up pumping for a while to see how much he got, and then topping off with formula after.
I don't know if your LO is crying at all or is just up, but that's what eventually worked for us until my milk fully kicked in.

She's overtired! It's hard, but you can't let a 7 week old go more than about 2 hours without sleep. I say, do whatever you can to get her down...rock her, put her in the swing, take her for a walk or a car ride...whatever works!

Have you tried white noise? Really helps them fall asleep. you can try the homedics sound spa ($20 & that has a timer or stays on), sleep sheep (timer) & you can even put ot the vacuum or hair dryer!

Thanks everyone!! DH came home and relieved me around 12:30am and got her to fall asleep. I guess he has the magic touch. Today she woke up at 8 and I just swaddled her and put her down for a nap at 9:30am. She fought it for a few seconds but it looks like she fell asleep. SHE WILL NAP TODAY!!!!! haha thanks again!!
