Losing weight fast?
Need advice...
How much weight can you lose in 3 weeks? I'm going to be in a bathing suit in front of a lot of people and I am a good 25 pounds over what I should be. I have been doing really well with diet and exercise. Lost about 11 lbs and a bunch of inches. It's slow going, but it's been really doable. But now it's crunch time!!
What I can I do to speed up the weight loss? I need to lose as much as possible in 3 weeks.

Re: Losing weight fast?
Excellent job! As you know, slow and steady is what keeps it off! That being said, I totally understand crunch time! Do something totally different than what you are doing now to somewhat shock your body. If you are not currently doing low carb, I think that will give you fast results.

ITA with all of this. Cutting carbs is what gets me to lose weight the fastest.

Re: Losing weight fast?
I'm already pretty low carb. I can't go full no carb (Atkins, south beach) bc that would mean high protein and my poor kidneys can't handle it. I make tons of kidney stones and protein is the culprit.
I will go back to cutting out all added sugar/carbs. When I first started I had no fruit, no bread of any kind, but did eat beans and such that had carbs but very low. I'll do that again.
I was thinking of meal replacement but anything that has no carbs has artificial sweetener and I can't have that. So it's like I'm stuck on either low carb OR meal replacement. Guessing low carb is a better bet. Gonna make some Veggie/Cabbage soup to get me through lol
Thanks guys!

Re: Losing weight fast?
Have you considered juicing? Or you could do a shake for 2 meals and a meal for one. Either a protein shake, or one with greek yogurt, fruit and cocounut or almond milk. You could also try paleo and limit high fat options

Re: Losing weight fast?
I use the sun warrior warrior blend shake. It's low carb and vegan. Might work with your meal replacement

Re: Losing weight fast?
3 weeks is still a good about of time. Have you kicked up your exercise program too? Strength training will help you in aesthetics & confidence by firming & sculpting, as well as increase the calories burned all day long.

Re: Losing weight fast?
I do T-25 Beta (which has shown unbelievable results) every morning. Walk 2-3 miles every night. I have been watching my calorie intake and cutting fat and carbs where I can.
I have decided instead of meal replacement shakes (bc I am weary of ingredients) I am going to make Cabbage/Veggie soup and replace 2 meals a day with that and my 3rd will be salad w veggie & chicken. Hopefully that soup (based off the WW soup) will help keep me satisfied and do the trick. I'm also going to up my water intake even more - if that's even possible lol
Thanks for all the tips. I'll def update on my progress!

Re: Losing weight fast?
I have been doing isagenix - it's worked for me. I lost almost 20 lbs the first month doing it really hard core, NO cheating at all - and I have kept it off -
I, personally, need a no brainer, easy mix and drink breakfast/lunch - it works for me. And this product is actually great. I FEEL good - My BIL personal trainer and cousin dietician both checked it out before I started and said it was legit b/c I was skeptical to spend that kind of money on something that was going be crappy for me - but the nutrients are all there -

My DH just started this. My friend did it and did very very well with it. Def. a good way to kickstart a weight loss. Again, another thing I can't do
Stickin to my soup! 2 days on it and I feel a lot less bloated. WEight in on Wednesday. Hoping for at least 2 lbs down

I wish I could say it's good, but I haven't lost anything!!! I am smaller though. I didn't measure, but my clothes are looser and my legs seem smaller as well. But as per the scale, NADA! Though, I did just get AF. So, once that's over, I'll know for sure lol

Re: Losing weight fast?
that sucks! years ago after having my first DC, I did the cabbage soup diet hardcore and I lost maybe 3lbs instead of the 10lbs they said you will lose. But I definitely lost a few inches all around. It did give me a jumpstart into losing weight. I am 21pp and have about 15lbs that I cannot shake for the life of me! I am eating right working out 5/6 days a week and it's not working! I know of someone who is eating whatever she wants (carb loaded foods) and managed to lose 20lbs starting from march until june! she kept her calorie intake 1400-1500 per day and minimal workouts!!! she used myfooddiary.com and I have been using myfitnesspal.com.
after the soup diet, I will try myfooddiary.com
good luck!
