Lost my kitty *** Update** Kitty came home
Levittown area near wantagh avenue. Brown/orange/black spotted bengal. He is 2 1/2 years old. He has been since Thursday night. I have been losing my mind. I want him to come home. He has been a outside cat for a year or so because he got out one night and got a taste of outside life and that was it for him, he could not stay indoors. I tried the animal shelter in Wantagh and he wasnt there. DH took his collar off 2 days prior to him missing to give him a bath and never put it back on.
Thanks everyone, but my kitty came home today. I went around the neighborhood and handed out flyers. I am so glad he is home

Re: Lost my kitty
I truly hope you find you sweet cat.
But please remember, cats should never be allowed to go outside. No matter how much they cry, etc. It is safer for them to be indoors-unless they are in a feral cat colony.
Good luck.

I hope you find your cat - but I have to admit I agree with the above.
I adopted a cat from a feral colony a month ago - he had mites, fleas and worms. I brought him to the vet again yesterday - and we are testing him for other diseases he may have contracted from being outside and around sick cats.

First off, I would never alow my cats to be outdoor cats unless I had no choice. I dont know about you but I for sure do not what cat piss all over my house. Besided houling at the door all day long, my cat got ****** and would piss on my bed because I didnt let him out. I paid alot of money for my cat and I got another cat to play with him but he wanted out. He would do what ever he ca to get out. He would run out as soon as that door opened. Believe me I tried to keep him inside, but even my vet told me that I should let him out if he was acting this way. He has been outside for a while now. I think someone took him. Anyway, thanks girls. I have not stoped looking for him. I will keep you updated.
