Lovenox / Support Stockings

Hi Ladies,

I am newly pregnant (8 weeks) and am very excited to be here. I have been TTC for some time now. My DH and I have been through ectopic pregnancies, MC, failed IVF's… After all of this we ended up conceiving without any intervention! So I am ECSTATIC to be here!

Ok so on to my question. I am on Lovenox and my OB/GYN told me that I should start wearing support stockings. Did any of you ladies have to do this? If so, did you get any special brand? I hate feeling restricted and am not looking forward to wearing them. But I will if I have to.

I am on lovenox and Baby Aspirin but I was not told to where support stockings. Do you have a history of blood clots? Maybe that is why

I wear support stockings, as I have very low blood pressure and am prone to passing out. I bought some off of Amazon that work well--I got panty hose ones (knee highs) to wear to work.

I'm on Lovenox as well. I wonder why you have to use the support stockings especially so early in the pregnancy. Now I'm curious...

Thanks ladies. I did have a blood clot a few years ago. Maybe that is why I have to wear them.
