Lovenox ladies
Are most of you being induced? The plan was for me to be induced, but one of the doctor's at the group practice I go do just mentioned that he doesn't see any need. This is the first time in my 36 weeks that it was suggested I not be induced.
I want an epidural and I had thought that if you want the epidural you need to be off blood thinners and that is why you get induced (so they can monitor your levels and pick the right time to induce you).
However, I just want to check with everyone else.
Thanks

Re: Lovenox ladies
I am a Lovenox mommy to be and I was told I will be induced. I am not supposed to go into labor. The game plan is take Lovenox once a day till 36 weeks then switch to Heprin twice a day. I was told that I can't get a spinal if I have Lovenox in my system. That is why they are switching to Heprin at 36 weeks. Heprin is easier to counteract if I unexpectedly go into labor. When the baby is ready they will induce. I take my last shot at night and they induce me the following morning. Then after the birth I start Lovenox again for 6 weeks post parden. Hope this helps.

Re: Lovenox ladies
I am on Lovenox and am going to be induced as well. They are supposedly yaking me off of the Lovenox @ somepoint. Maybe @ that time I will be switched to Heparin. I go back to the high risk Dr in a week, I will know more @ that time and will try to remember to post what he tells me.
