Low AMH
Are there any supplements that I can take to increase my AMH? My FSH is a 7 (I think that number is normal) so I don't want to take anything that will lower that number.
Any ideas?
Thanks girls!

Re: Low AMH
DHEA can help with diminished ovarian reserve IF your levels are low. It makes sense, however, to ask them to test your levels because it's a delicate balance, and too much of it can raise your testosterone and throw your hormones off.
Unfortunately there's not much else you can do to change your AMH, which is really just an indication of reserve. It's a message that time is a factor, and you should look into docs who specialize in improving egg quality and response.
I have low AMH and normal FSH as well. I know it's scary to hear. The good news is that, while I don't have an overwhelming response to stims, I do get a decent batch and there are always a few stellar embies in there to transfer. FM any time if you have questions. GL!

Low AMH
Thank you so much for the reply. I am so new to all of this and I'm trying to stay off google.
Have you tried IUI or only IVF? RE recommended going straight to IVF but because of insurance reasons, and financially, we would have to do 6 IUI first. Not sure if I should feel good about the IUI protocol or not.

Re: Low AMH
I as well have low AMH (<1). My FSH levels came back witin the normal range 2 out of 3 test. However, I was told that the FSH# can be a false reading and is usually sku'd when your AMH is low.
MY RE also recommended going straight to IVF and not waste any time with IUI's, since time is of essence.
I have read DHEA can improve egg quality, but I'm not sure about increasing AMH. Before you start anything I would check with your RE. Mine didn't want me taking any suppliments prior or during treatments.
Good luck to you. Feel free to FM me with any questions.

Re: Low AMH
I have low AMH as well 0.2 FSH has been normal 3 out of 3 tests over this past year
As of right now, he retested AMH to be sure (get results next week) and I started Clomid this cycle.
I wouldn't take anything until speaking to your RE.
My insurance doesn't cover IVF at all, so IUI is our only option. Hoping to be one of those miracles!
GL to you
