Low amino flluid
Ok I have been an emotional wreck since last thursday when I went for my 20 week ultrasound.. I got all this unexpected news... I was looking foward to the sex and know I got more than I thought i could handle.. Maybe some of you ladies can help me with this if you have been down this road yourself.. I was told that BAby A was 15 oz and Baby B is 11 oz and they are concerned about the weight diffrence... Has anybody else experience this too.. I'm going on 22 weeks this Saurday.. Not only that but they also told me that Baby B has low amino fluid also... so they put me immediatly on Best rest for a week till I go back this thursday to see my docters ... I am so worried and concerned what am I to expect of all this... ??? I would appreciate any input from you ladies.. Thank you....

Re: Low amino flluid
Wow they considered that to be a big weight difference? I wouldn't be concerned about that at all - my DDs had a 10 oz. difference at one point, and when they were born, there was a 1 oz. difference.
As for the low amniotic fluid, I was checked for that in my last tri because I was diagnosed with Cholestasis. Tuesday before I delivered they thought it was low, then on Friday when I went to my appointment they said it was fine. Hopefully the measurement was just off. Good luck!

Re: Low amino flluid
Are they identical or fraternal?
I had identical and they watched the weight becuase of TTTS. This is not an issue with fraternal though. They look for a 20% difference.
I also had low fluid at one point, and I went on limited bed rest and the next week it was back up. I made sure to rest, put my feet up and drink lots of water.
Good Luck!!!!!

Re: Low amino flluid
Then TTTS won't be an issue. If you rest up the fluid level can rise. Are you doing alot right now, that you might need to slow down a bit? Good Luck and keep us posted on what the Dr says!Congrats on 2 boys!! Boys are great, wild but fun!
