Low fluid at 16 weeks ?
I just had the second part of my ultrascreen done, and the tech said that my fluid was low. When I asked her for numbers, she said you don't want to go any lower than this.
This is my 4th child, and I've never had low fluid before. I see my dr next weds, but wanted to get some info before then. I am def not drinking enough water...I drink about 4-5 glasses a day. The reason is that I am a teacher that has a 3 1/2 hour block of teaching. So obviously I can't drink then, and I can't drink before that in the morning, because I will have to go during that time (not pregnant I pee at least once an hour).
Even without drinking anything in the morning, I go to the bathroom at least 3 times at home, once when I get to school, once before the kids come in, 20 minutes after that when the kids have prep, and 40 minutes after that (before I pick them up).
I don't know what to do??? We are not allowed to ask another teacher to watch our class anymore so we can run to the bathroom.
Any advice? Thanks

Re: Low fluid at 16 weeks ?
Idk what to say but I know how important being hydrated is. Try to maybe just drink more in the morning and then at night. Even if that means more trips in the middle of the night

I def. drink my water at night. I am in the bathroom at least 5-6 times throughout the night.
Of course I google, and now I am freaking out

drink as much as you can, I had low fluid when I was around 20 weeks, they told me to drink lots of water . I went back 2 weeks later and they said it was normal.

Re: Low fluid at 16 weeks ?
drink, drink, drink when you can!
Honestly I knew we had to drink a lot of water but not realizing it affects our fluid level
DS #1 I drank a lot of water ~ this pregnancy since I have been sick so much the first trimester and now I am feeling better I think my stomach shrunk because I can't eat and drink as much as I used to ~ so weird. I have to drink more water!
