Low PAPP-A results
Hey ladies,
Got a call from my Doctor with the results of my Nuchal Translucency / Ultrascreen. The Ultrasound itself looked good and my chances of having a baby with Downs, etc. is like 1:7000. She said there is a "small red flag" in that my PAPP-A results came back as low...at 2%. This means I will need more ultrasounds as low PAPP-A can mean that the baby might have a low birth weight and we need to make sure it's growing properly. Then she added that she has only seen one case like mine where there turned out to be a real issue...all other cases were normal.
Of course now I'm totally freaked out. Anybody dealt with this? Any advice? TIA!

Re: Low PAPP-A results
I had low PAPP-A with my DD and she was perfectly fine.
It's just a screening. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about.

No BTDT experience, but many and I know how nerve wracking it is anytime someone tells you there may be a "red flag" albeit small or not.
