Low Sperm Motility

We just got the results from the SA back, and my DH was diagnosed with having low sperm motility. The doctor said he has a high sperm count, but there is only 25% motility. And of those there are a 1 - 2 level with 4 being the highest. Is anyone else dealing with the same thing? We are going to see a urologist...but I have no idea what the next step usually is. HELP!

My DH's SA showed low sperm motility. My dr told us to go right to a R.E. Every doctor is different----some will send your Dh to the urologist. Don't freak out too much yet! I know I was having a meltdown when we first got the results. When I went to the RE, she did another SA and his #'s were better. It really depends on so many things....what he ate, how he slept, stress level, drinking, etc.

Either way, a specialist (such as a urologist or an RE) will be an expert and will be able to tell u what the next steps should be for you both.
