Lucille Roberts
I've never worked out a day in my life (besides in gym class in college), and I have no idea what to do at the gym.
I'm looking into maybe joining Lucille Roberts, but have a few questions before I go there and sign for 2 years and forget to ask questions first.
1. Can I sign up at one location, and use another?
2. Has anyone ever used a personal trainer there, and is it $$$?
3. How are the classes?
TIA!

1. Can I sign up at one location, and use another? Yes (but it may depend on the kind of membership you get - not sure)
2. Has anyone ever used a personal trainer there, and is it $$$? Just the free one I got and I didn't like the girl (she was like 12 years old!!) but I think she charged $25? $35?
3. How are the classes? OK ... some instructors better than others, some locations better than others.

Re: Lucille Roberts
1. i pay $3 extra a month to have a gold pass which is access to all lucille roberts locations. also gold pass members get special classes, but i don't think they check the cards.
2. My sisters friend just signed up with a personal trainer. I hope to sign up with this trainer too soon. I heard that it is 20 half hour sessions for @260.
3. Depending on the location the teachers are great. a new one opened closer to me than my original one and the classes so far are better. i go to lucille roberts for the classes. I like fit ball class (depending on the instructor), boot camp and total body workout. but i know that my location is starting bellydancing which i would love to try.
eta: i would only recommend lucille roberts if you want to take the classes, because a lot of locations have issues with the limited amount of treadmills and ellipticals.
