Luke's Christening was this past weekend - some PICS
Luke's Christening was Saturday and it went really well. We received so many compliments on the service and the food. For the service we had a private baptisim. A good friend of Chris' family (who also married us) performed the service, he is a deacon. During the actual baptisim part he called all the children up so they could watch closely, they loved that. Then at the end he brought everyone up to the alter for another blessing (for the mother & the father) and prayer. It was really nice because the whole service was very personal. The luncheon afterwards was great; I would highly recommend the Maine Maide Inn. Everyone raved about the food and my centerpieces were a hit. Luke was fantastic. He fussed a bit in church, but then I walked with him. At the lunch he was a little overwhelmed/overstimulated by all the people but Aunt Karen got him to sleep and he slept for awhile in his carseat (which is why when we cut the cake you'll see we just brought the carrier up there, I wasn't dare waking him). He is SO cute!! Love his little outfit! My bridal shower was at Maine Maid; I loved it there.
