Lump the size of baseball near shoulder blade

For at least a month, I have noticed what I thought was extra fat near my right shoulder blade. The little area you see when you wear a tank top in back. Tonight I noticed it is not on the other side and I have what is the size of a baseball there. I am so terrified. Where do I go to have this looked? I don't have a regular GP. I have to go to a walk in facility and follow up from there. Anyone have any ideas? My internet searches are pulling up no info.

you should def get it checked. could be as simple as a water filled cyst, but better safe than sorr! gl

what does it feel like when you touch it??
is it under the skin?

I swear, but it could totally be a knot in your muscles; I have really bad tension in my shoulders and scoliosis in my upper back; so it looks like im starting a little hunch back there b/c my muscles were literally knotted up there.

I've been seeing a chiro and going for massage therapy and its made a WORLD of difference.

it could also be a benign water filled cyst.
