Lunch ideas
What is everyone packing for their kids? I need some new ideas. My son is picky and he won't eat cold cuts.
I usually bake muffins for him, and I give him a fruit and yogurt. I've also done oatmeal, a bagel with cream cheese, and matzo cracker with cream cheese. I always give fruit or apple sauce with it.
Another question, if your child has snack during the day, do you give another snack with lunch?
TIA, Again.

Re: Lunch ideas
I don't think cold cuts are healthy, and when we eat them a couple of times a month, they have to be fresh. They used to like cream cheese and jelly or just cheese sandwiches, but we've gotten fancier and picker now lol. So, we don't do too many sandwiches for lunch!
I have a thermos that my girls take steamed dumplings, mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese, Amy's pizza snacks, leftover pasta or soups in. They eat pizza at the school on Fridays
I usually pack one more thing on the side: fruit, cups of 100% apple/blueberry sauce, cut up veggies, cheese.
They always have a couple of more snacks in brown bags because they are in school from 8 to 530. I'm very busy in the mornings packing all this stuff, plus my lunch!
