lunch places in midtown?
We're meeting our friends in the city tomorrow for lunch and they don't have a clue where to go because they're from out of town. Can anyone recommend a yummy, not too expensive, place for lunch? We're really open to any type of cuisine, but something with variety. Thanks!

We recently went to Thalia for lunch. It was really good. I had seen it on $40 a Day.

hmm...i think it's midtown east where they are staying. I guess a soup/salad/sandwich type place or maybe some kind of pub?

If you walk around, you will find someplace. There are probably 5 places to eat within a 2 block radius, wherever you go in Midtown

You should try Fig & Olive-- on Lex and 62nd. Great lunch place!
