Recently, the Lupus Foundation of America delivered a bag and mailer to my house. They are collecting clothing and household goods to help raise funds for education and research.

A few weeks ago, I found out that I have lupus. It can be a horrible illness, especially if it is not caught early. So I am making a personal plug to people to clear out your closets, or think about donating those old curtains, dishes, the juicer you never use etc.
