Lurker coming out....
Hello Ladies,
First a very big CONGRATULATIONS to all the Mommies-to-be (whether it be your first, second, third etc).
I've been lurking for a while, ok a LONG while and decided I would come out of hiding (even if only for today). I am a married, mother of 2. My youngest is one and my oldest is in his Junior year of H.S. I just found out I'm PG and nearly fainted. I'm completely SHOCKED and TERRIFIED. DH and I did not plan this, nor did we even consider having another baby so soon and thought we were being VERY careful. I guess the woman/man upstairs had other plans for us.
I cried when I found out and I feel horrible, because I know this is a blessing. I just can't help but be scared, worried and nervous. I'm going to be a mother of 2 kids under 2. Certainly not the first, or the last, but I never dreamt of this even becoming a reality.
I am due to start school in December for Nursing, we just bought a house, my youngest is in daycare and I have zero family here aside from DH and my children.
I'm sorry if I'm being a downer, I'm just really scared. I know he/she will never give you more than you can handle, but couldn't he/she have waited until my youngest was at least 3?
Thanks for letting me vent.

Re: Lurker coming out....
well, I don't have to tell a BTDT-mom like you that there's ALWAYS the shock and fear stage in the beginning... for us it lasted until the 3rd trimester
you'll be fine, and once it absorbs you'll both be happier than can be!
congrats on your BFP and welcome!!!!

Congratulations!! You will be fine. I think being scared is totally normal- esp. if the pregnancy wasn't planned. Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

Re: Lurker coming out....
Congrats and welcome!!! Coming from a soon to be mother of 2 under 2 I understand being scared and nervous. I did not plan to have another one till DD was 2 or older but...well things happen. I have had multiple miscarriages and had fertilty treatments to have DD so when I got pregnant naturally this time I was beyond shocked. You are never given more than you can handle so you will be FINE. Have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
